Description

Where horses neigh, and children play; Lurgybrack Open Farm is a very special place where the family can spend time together seeing the animals and having oodles of fun. The farm building, which has been in operation for centuries; is home to a wide range of friendly animals, both big and small; that children can get up close and personal – our residents include emu’s, horses, budgie’s, sheep, goats, deer, pigs, rabbits and much more. Hands on and face-to-face animal encounters are encouraged – but beware…our friendly llamas like to spit! Eurgh! At Lurgybrack Open Farm there’s plenty of outdoor space for children to play safely and burn off some energy. For those with a more leisurely pace of life, take a riverside walk, or unwind at the tea room – treats and buns are a must! Did you know? Emu’s have two sets of eyelids – one for blinking, and the other for keeping out dust! Amenities and Facilities Parking Toilets – baby changing facilities Wheelchair – disabled access Nearby Tropical World – Awaken Adventures – Arena 7
