World of Owls houses one of the largest most diverse collection of owls and raptors in the U.K. and Ireland - a few of the residents include eagles, owls, snakes and anthrapods.
What is an owl’s favourite subject at school? Owlgebra!
World of Owls is Northern Ireland’s premier owl and raptor centre with the most diverse range right across the island.
Located among woodland in Randalstown, World of Owls has a wide variety of owls in residence, including native species such as Barn, Long Eared and Short Eared Owls – there’s a cute fluffy face just waiting for you to drop by and say hello.
As well as owls, there are a number of birds of prey, reptiles and exotic animals for you to engage with on your visit.
Specialists in conservation, a visit to World of Owls will not only provide you with lots of fun facts, but will also provide you with up close experiences where you can see first hand these amazing creatures and critters.
Our centre is wheelchair accessible, and has a range of facilities that enables it to be a visitor destination for a half or full day visit. At the centre we have an indoor and outdoor display area, a play area for the little ones, nature walks and a small café for beverages and sweet treats. There’s also a gift shop to pick up some memorabilia and knick-knacks before you depart for home.
World of Owls offer a sponsorship programme so visitors can sponsor an owl, bird of prey or exotic animal for a full year, prices starts at just £52 and all funds go to the everyday running of the centre and taking care of the animals in residence.
