Guests of The Celtic Cottage have use of the private hot tub, and there’s also a mini bar (extra cost) for a tipple (or two) as the sun sets over County Wexford. The purpose-built Celtic Cottage is the ideal place to rest and unwind, giving the feeling of a home-from-home retreat. Dine al fresco, open a bottle of wine or soak in the hot tub on the private decked area. Afterwards, wrap in a cosy bathrobe and put your feet up in the cottage and enjoy all that the space offers. Inside there is an open plan design with a dining area, a compact kitchenette which has a gas hob (1 ring), oven, fridge, mini freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is a smart TV and WiFi for guests to connect devices and watch a movie. The kitchen is equipped basic provisions such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar & selection of seasonings along with fresh free range eggs and juice on arrival. Sleeping arrangement consists of a comfortable double bed and sofa bed, and gas central heating ensures your stay is cosy. If you have little people travelling with you, a travel cot and high chair is available to guests on request. There is a good sized shower room with wash hand basin and toilet. Outside there is a large deck to the front of The Celtic Cottage, which is partially covered for those rainy days. The deck is fitted with a hot tub (with Bluetooth), dining area and a BBQ. Located 10km (6 miles) from the bustling town of Gorey and 13km (8 miles) from Courtown and Ballymoney Beach, there is plenty to see and do. Gorey is a fantastic shopping town with some of the countries best eateries and restaurants, whilst Courtown hosts the Seal Sanctuary and breath taking woodland walks alongside the beach. Wexford town is a 50 minute drive or visit Morris Castle Beach, Curracloe or Kilmuckridge and take a stroll along the beach, or try wild-swimming if you’re brave enough – whatever you choose, ours is the place to enjoy all that Ireland has to offer. The Celtic Cottage is just adjacent to the host’s own home, but still has ample private space for guests to feel isolated. The hosts are home most of the time to greet guests but on occasion, self-check-in is available.
