Set within the beautiful Meadow Glampsite, this imaginative self-catering accommodation combines cosy cabin vibes with thoughtful design and luxurious touches. Its curved roof, barn-style exterior, round windows, and covered patio give The Home Place a distinctive character. The accommodation is inspired by the nature and history of Abbeyleix Bog and the wider Midlands of Ireland. Sleeping up to six guests, The Home Place has two bedrooms and one fully wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Both bedrooms feature Austrian double beds that can divide into twin beds, while the living area has a comfortable double sofa bed. The accessible bathroom includes a spacious shower, toilet, and sink. A well-equipped kitchenette features an electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster. Underfloor heating adds warmth and comfort throughout the year. Inside, colourful artwork and hidden animal murals bring the nature-inspired theme to life. Meanwhile, the spacious covered patio runs along the length of the lodge, creating a sheltered space for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Guests also have access to the shared facilities across the Meadow Glampsite. The quirky Glamp House provides a communal kitchen and dining area, while the sun deck is ideal for outdoor meals.
