Take an amazing journey through Fota Wildlife Park on the Park Tour Train – meander through the different habitat areas, will you see the Rhinoceros – and watch the animals as they watch you! Alternatively, wander around the Park on foot at your own leisure and see how many species you can count…Zebra, Giraffe, Red Panda, Tiger…wow, that’s just 4 and there’s a whole lot more!
On site dining is plentiful and visitors have several options, including the Savannah Café – which is within view of the Meerkat and Colobus Monkey habitat. The Oasis Café, situated to the rear of the Park (near the Irish Rail station) has a range of hot food options including burgers, chips, and nuggets for the little ones. A large Picnic and Rest area offers plenty of benches, trees, and a shaded Marquee for when the sun shines.
Don’t forget to drop by the Serengeti Gift Store before you leave to pick up a treasure or gifts for friends. The shop, which stocks a huge range of branded merchandise, gifts, toys, books, jewellery and educational puzzles; has something to suit every budget – what will you buy?
Fota Wildlife Park is wheelchair accessible, and there are four disabled-wheelchair accessible toilets located within the Park – signs will guide you to their location.
