Kyra and Barry Fingleton welcome you to Glamping Under The Stars, situated on Barry’s family farm in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East. Since we opened in 2016, our multi-award-winning glamping resort has grown to feature two unique sites: the Meadow Glampsite, offering classic glamping (with bell tents, wood lodges, and a handcrafted shepherd’s hut), and the Mountain Glampsite, (a luxurious hobbit village of quirky grass-roofed accommodations). Surrounded by the fields, forests & waterfalls of lovely Laois, it’s the perfect place to relax, light up the campfire, and have fun with family & friends. Sustainability is very important to us, so our glampsites promote biodiversity with features like wildflower meadows, and a large biodiversity pond, and there are paddocks for ponies, sheep, and cattle. The Mountain Glampsite is also accredited by Age Friendly Ireland for its accessible facilities. We love sharing hidden gems like Abbeyleix, Emo Court, and the Slieve Bloom Mountains with our guests. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or simply unwinding, our goal is simply to help guests create “Wildly Happy Times” together.
