We first visited Skeagh for a family holiday while I was undergoing cancer treatment. The beauty of the area captured our hearts so deeply that we couldn’t resist buying the business and making it our own. Originally from Bailieborough, I’ve also lived in New York and Dublin, but Cavan has always had a special place in my heart. Known for its stunning natural beauty, Cavan boasts 365 lakes, making it a haven for nature lovers, fishing, and water sports. At Skeaghvil Chalets, we’ve created a home away from home where you can unwind, relax, and soak in the serenity of nature. While it’s peaceful here, there’s so much to do in the area, and we’re always available to offer suggestions for activities, places to visit, and hidden gems to explore.
