Waterfall Farm offers guests a nature-based glamping experience in the peaceful, rolling hills of Castledonovan, West Cork. Surrounded by tranquil wilderness, the site is a perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation and reconnection. At the heart of the farm sits a charming wooden cabin, which comfortably accommodates up to four guests with a double bed and two singles. For larger groups, there’s a spacious area for camping. The cabin provides stunning views of the nearby castle ruins and the picturesque mountain landscape. Just steps away, a Bronze Age five-stone row adds a touch of history to the surroundings. Explore the enchanting riverside loop walk, meandering beneath ancient trees and past crystal-clear pools, where you’ll encounter cascading streams and a beautiful waterfall with a natural swimming hole. Wildlife flourishes throughout the property, with otters, foxes, badgers, hares, and the occasional stoat. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the presence of dippers, herons, buzzards, and native songbirds. On the farm, you’ll meet our friendly alpacas, as well as our miniature donkeys, Pepe and Gomez, and the cheeky Shetland ponies, Captain Jack and Fat Freddy. From time to time, our curious cats, Pi Ballou and Hamish, might stop by the cabin. Waterfall Farm is ideal for couples, families, or solo travellers seeking an escape from everyday life.
