Happy seas, happy seals – and all thanks to the amazing rescue, rehabilitation and release work by Seal Rescue Ireland, located at Courtown Harbour in County Wexford. Here at Seal Rescue Ireland, a multi-faceted wildlife rehabilitation and marine conservatiion organisation; we work tirelessly around the clock to care for and nurse seal pups back to full health, before releasing them back to the wild. There are many threats to seals including human, industrial, inclement weather, water pollution, entanglement from debris and climate change – here at Seal Rescue Ireland, we aim to actively reduce the the threat to our wild seals, and education is key! Our team of amazing volunteers love to educate the general public about the conservation work that we do, and are often out-and-about visiting schools and local communities. At Seal Rescue Ireland we have lots of ways that you can get involved including; volunteering, seal sponsorship, becoming a member, donating, leaving a legacy and fundraising.
