Gortin Glen Forest Park is one of Tyrone’s most natural and beautiful forest parks. Located just six miles from Omagh, County Tyrone at the western gateway to the Sperrin mountains; Gortin Glen has lots to offer visitors with many trails to walk, cycle or trot, a newly refurbished play park, and spectacular views. Gortin Glen Forest Park is Made up of a network of 5 trails, each colour-coded that begin and end at the main car park. The trails vary in length and difficulty and have been designed to allow visitors to enjoy all that the park offers. Amble along at your own pace and enjoy beautiful woodland, flowing streams and waterfalls. The Forest Park also takes in part of the scenic Ulster Way Walking Route. As well as walking trails, there are also mountain bike trails and visitors can drive a five-mile scenic route to enjoy the views. Horses are also allowed in Gortin Glen Forest Park. Gortin Glen Forest Park is owned by Forest Service NI, with the trails and play park maintained by Fermanagh & Omagh District Council. Did you know?
