Our journey began in the heart of ‘The Kingdom,’, where we have long operated a successful traditional guesthouse. The inspiration for Gateway Glamping struck during the COVID-19 era, when a family staycation opened our eyes to the unique magic of luxury outdoor living. Realising that our family land—perfectly situated near Kerry Airport and Farranfore Train Station—was the ideal gateway for travellers, we decided to pivot toward this modern adventure. Our doors officially opened in August 2023, driven by an ethos of tranquility, accessibility, and authentic local connection. Our mission is to provide a peaceful sanctuary that serves as a springboard for exploring the rugged beauty of County Kerry.
