Hi, my name is Mairead and I’m the owner of Mountain View Glamping in County Limerick. Like many, our journey into glamping began during the Covid lockdowns - every cloud has a silver lining! My partner John and I had been hosting through Airbnb, but with a lifelong love of camping and fond memories with my children, I had a lightbulb moment: why not build a glamping pod? Nestled in the beautiful Ballyhoura Mountains, our site offers a warm welcome, homely comfort, and endless outdoor adventures. The Snug was born five years ago from a passion for rural Ireland, camping, and connecting with people.
