The story behind our enchanting Shillelagh Country Pods begins with a tale of love, serendipity, and a yearning for escape. It started when we embarked on our honeymoon during the midst of the 2021 lockdown. We stayed in a private glamping pod and discovered that this unique form of accommodation with the privacy of our own jacuzzi provided the perfect sanctuary to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Inspired by our experience we knew we had abundant space to create this haven for others and although it took a year to decide, we embarked on the journey to bring this vision to life. After careful planning and meticulous attention to detail, we built three distinctive glamping pods affectionately named Oak, Ash, and Beech by Eugene's mother, symbolising the strength and beauty of nature. Our first guests stayed in February 2024. Each pod is carefully furnished and boasts a private jacuzzi, sauna and cosy love bench. Now you can enjoy a perfect getaway, just like we did!
