We’re a farming family living on the side of a Wicklow hill, just five minutes from the charming village of Shillelagh. With around 160 sheep and fewer than 40 cattle, we’ve long embraced rural life. Inspired by the natural beauty and altitude of our homeplace, we saw an opportunity to create a peaceful glamping retreat, ideal for nature lovers and those seeking to switch off. Our Aeropod—crafted from a recycled airplane shell—was chosen for its durability and sustainability. As a family invested in green energy, with a wind farm of five turbines on our land, this eco-conscious choice complements our ethos. Our pod offers a unique, off-grid escape immersed in nature, shaped by our lifestyle and values.
