My name is Rosemary. For many years i had wanted to restore a vintage horse box for glamping. I wanted to convert it into a luxurious cosy and peaceful quest accommodation for two people. The Skewbald is unique in all ways and sits on an elevated site on a private equestrian property enjoying views of rural Fermanagh Farmland and Cuilagh mountain. The Skewbald was in use up until recently and was decorated using reclaimed materials in keeping with it's era and we managed to keep the original oak floor. We hope you will appreciate the attention to detail and vintage pieces that help to create this authentic space. The horsebox leads out unto the original back door creating a lovely space to enjoy your favourite tipple. The views can also be enjoyed when relaxing in the hot tub. The Skewbald is a perfect base to explore Fermanagh's many tourist attractions. It is a short distance from the stairway to heaven, Marble Arch caves, Gladagh Glen, Belcoo, Blacklion and the island town Enniskillen.
