Nestled on a 50-acre holding at Doon Angus Farm, Westport Glamping offers two luxury glamping pods, a shepherd’s hut, and exceptional communal facilities. Positioned just 5km from the vibrant town of Westport, guests enjoy picturesque views of Croagh Patrick from Sunshine Pod. In addition, our glamping site in County Mayo provides guests with easy access to stunning natural attractions like blue flag beaches and majestic mountains. Doon Angus Farm boasts a rich tradition of rearing Angus cattle. Guests are invited to experience daily farm life, including feeding calves, interacting with Connemara ponies, collecting fresh eggs, and playing with our friendly dog, Scamp. A variety of activities await guests, including stargazing, campfires, exploring the Wild Atlantic Way, scenic walks and cycling adventures. The elevated, south-facing site offers panoramic views of the Mayo countryside, providing a serene setting for relaxation. Sunshine Pod sleeps up to 4 people or 2 adults and 3 children (under 12). Featuring elegant wood finishes, comfortable furnishings, and modern amenities like toilets and washbasins, our Sunshine Pod ensures a comfortable stay. Furthermore, guests also have access to a dedicated kitchen and shower area in the converted barn. There is also an outdoor dining space to savour local produce while admiring breathtaking County Mayo sunsets. Amenities provided include duvets, pillows, bed linen, hand wash, and toilet paper.
