Hillview Hut is a lovingly hand-crafted shepherd hut set on a working family farm in the lush green meadows of County Meath.
Located just 5 mins from historic Oldcastle town in beautiful open countryside, our cosy off-grid shepherd hut has an open plan living area with kitchenette – kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and the usual utensils; all ensure you have the essentials to make your visit enjoyable. Please note that there is no hob.
Inside Hillview Hut there is a comfortable double bed and a convertible bed/settee for the children. A private en-suite with shower is within and fluffy towels are provided for your stay.
Located just 15 mins from the M3, our glampsite is convenient to scenic routes and the historical attraction of Loughcrew Cairns. Loughcrew Gardens, Lough Sheelin, Lough Ramor and Mullaghmeen Forest are all easily accessible from Hillview Hut.
